Despite the devastating earthquake, Nepal remains a safe destination for adventure tourism. Here’s an update on the current situation:

  • Only 8 out of 75 districts were affected
  • 1 out of 10 National Parks was affected
  • All highways and sub-ways are operational
  • 2 out of 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites suffered around 40% damage
  • 90% of hotels in Kathmandu Valley are safe and operational
  • 100% of hotels in popular destinations like Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini, and others are safe and open
  • Only 2 out of 35 popular trekking routes (Manaslu and Langtang) are affected
  • All international and national airports are operational
  • Communication networks, phone calls, ATMs, and swipe machines are working well
  • Hospitals and clinics are safe and operational, with no reported viral diseases or influenza

  • Hospitals and Clinics are safe and in operation. No viral diseases or influenza is seen.
