General Overview
Gokyo Trek offers you plenty of beautiful views of Everest and other nearby shiny snowy giant peaks.
The Gokyo lake area is surrounded by mountainous valleys, alpine lakes, and numerous glaciers. It has also less crowd compare to others in the Everest region.
This trek takes 12-14 days to complete including travel to and from Kathmandu. This moderate to difficult trek reaches a high of 5000 meters superb hidden Himalayan valley.
Just after a flight to Lukla, our adventure begins on foot with interacting among local people known as Sherpa. Sherpa people are famous in the world for climbing in high mountains.
We will also stay at local lodges and trek into the habitat of Sherpa and their villages.
Along the trek, we will pass Buddhist monasteries with the magnificent views of Mt. Everest as well as other snow-capped mountains getting closer day by day.
We will have a day’s rest at the village of Namche Bazaar (gateway to Everest), famous for all facilities like in the cities of Nepal.
The acclimatize day helps to explore the different village of Sherpa people and also get the elevation of 3840 m. It has also small airfield situated at the highest elevation in the world offering awesome and close views of Mt. Everest.
